2022 — 2026 · Extending the Train-Window Narrative Across the Globe
火车看世界

World Through Train Windows is a long-term photographic project by photographer Chu Weimin, extending his window-frame narrative from the earlier China Through Train Windows to a global scale. Following the thread of railway lines, the photographer has ridden dozens of routes across Asia, Europe, North and South America, and South Asia — from intercity express trains to cross-border slow services, from plateau permafrost railways to coastal scenic lines — consistently using the train window as a natural frame, constructing a global visual genealogy that combines a unified aesthetic language with diverse local textures.
