Seeking the Unique Beauty of China - Thomas's 2020 Landscape Photography Collection

2020 was a special year. For someone like me who loves to travel around, the first four months were almost entirely spent at home, and traveling abroad became a distant dream.

But it also gave me a rare opportunity to seek the different beauty of China across its 9.6 million square kilometers of mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas.

Seeing China by Train

This series is a direction I newly tried this year, aiming to discover and document China's developing countryside, cities, and outdoor landscapes through the special, modern mode of transport that is the train.

The approach of shooting both inside and outside from a high-speed train, as well as the specific presentation direction and style, is still being slowly explored.
