Since resigning in mid-2017 to become a full-time landscape photographer, Thomas has spent 2.5 years on the path he loves.
2019 was a year of harvest for me. I was fortunate to win awards and even go viral with my works. I never stopped stepping out of my comfort zone, constantly trying new shooting subjects, methods, and styles, and exploring more places more deeply.
The world is so big — let's now enjoy Thomas's 2019 landscape photography selection together~
Each place nurtures its own people. In different natural environments, people's lifestyles and architectural forms are completely different. From grand panoramic aerial shots to subtle corners of the streets, life always leaves us all kinds of unexpected encounters.
The joy of landscape photography, especially outdoor landscape photography, is not just the beautiful final masterpieces.
The persistence during exploration, the surprise of chance encounters, the awe of patiently waiting for the decisive moment — the shooting process and the immersive experience are actually more memorable.
This year, besides landscape shooting, I also tried combining landscape photography with commercial photography, such as shooting cars and products in landscapes I'm good at, or shooting sample images with new gear.
Commercial photography demands much more in shooting planning and frame details. Through cooperation with Guangzhou Xinxing She, Tuchong, and other advertising agency teams, I had the chance to work with excellent planners, directors, and retouchers, and I gained a lot from these projects.

Finally, I want to thank every one of my readers — your support has always been my motivation to move forward!
In 2020, Thomas looks forward to exploring more places, shooting more of China's landscapes and culture, and creating richer and deeper photos. I also wish everyone can shoot great works.
